Ronald E. Unterseher, DDS, MS
Dr. Ron Unterseher had a great childhood growing up on a farm in Nebraska. However, as a kid, he discovered that Colorado would be his eventual home while on a family vacation to Estes Park. He attended the University of Nebraska (BS), the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry (DDS), and the Department of Orthodontics (MS, Certificate in Orthodontics).
After his Orthodontic program completion in Nebraska, Dr. Ron served in the United States Army (Captain) for three years in Kaiserslautern, Germany, as a treating Orthodontist for the dependents of our Active Duty Personnel stationed in the area. He then moved to Colorado to begin his Orthodontic practice at 104th and North Federal Blvd in Westminster, Colorado.
Unterseher Orthodontics continues to grow thanks to the referrals from patients, friends, Dental Hygienists, General Dentists, and Dental Specialists, including other Orthodontists.
Orthodontics is fun! What a wonderful privilege it is to be able to help people get that great smile they have always wanted. Dr. Ron enjoys seeing the transformation his patients experience in confidence and self-esteem during and after Orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Ron enjoys the outdoors, the mountains, Colorado, running, road and mountain biking, snow skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, golf, pickleball, water sports, fly fishing, cultural, and culinary activities, An occasional trip to an ocean beach includes scuba diving, kayaking, and sailing.

Dr. Ron has a high-tech, advanced digital practice. He has attended many advanced Orthodontic CE classes, including Invisalign classes. He has treated hundreds of patients with the Invisalign system using the iTero Element intraoral scanner, eliminating the need for goopy and gaggy impressions.
Traditional braces are also used, including Insignia with Damon Clear brackets, metal, and ceramic brackets, for individual patient requirements. Dr. Ron uses the most advanced and appropriate treatment modalities tailored for the needs and desires of each child or adult to complete Orthodontic treatment in the timeliest manner for each patient.
Dr. Ron has been chosen by his Dental peers to be selected as a top Orthodontist and featured in the Orthodontist section of top Dentists in 5280 magazine every year since 2008, including 2024. He has also been selected for Top Dentist in Parents magazine consecutively since 2017, including 2024.
