About the Doctor!
Dr. Ron Unterseher earned several degrees while attending the University of Nebraska; Bachelor of Science, Doctor of Dental Surgery, Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Ron served as an Orthodontist in the United States Army for three years in Kaiserslauten, Germany treating the dependents of our Active Duty Personnel stationed in the area. In 1984, he began his Orthodontic practice at 104th and N. Federal. After practicing there for 15 years, he became an owner/tenant in the 2-story professional building located within the shopping center at the SW corner of 104th and Federal in 1999. Even though most of his time is spent in Westminster, Dr. Ron has an additional location in Lodo at 1141 18th Street (between Arapahoe and Lawrence) for the convenience of Downtown Denver patients several days per month. Dr. Ron loves Orthodontics and the opportunity to see the positive changes in his patients from beginning to end.
Dr. Ron is a newly wed, a father and grandfather, enjoys Colorado, the mountains, all of the opportunities for sports, cultural, and culinary activities, golf, running, mountain and road biking, snow and water activities, hiking, and fly fishing. An occasional trip to an ocean beach includes scuba diving.
Dr. Ron is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (board eligible), the World Federation of Orthodontists (Fellow), the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, the Colorado Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society.
In addition to the use of traditional braces for most of his patients, including metal, gold, and ceramic, Dr. Ron has used Invisalign for hundreds of patients, a clear alternative to traditional braces. He has been one of the Invisalign top 100 orthodontists in the world for multiple years and attained the Invisalign Premier Provider status. Lingual braces have also become a possibility for a few patients.
